Women's Cloudsurfer Max

On Cloudsurfer Max: The Ultimate Smooth-Ride Cruiser The On Cloudsurfer Max is the new "heavy hitter" in our On lineup at Runners Athletic Company . While many On shoes are known for being firm and responsive, the Cloudsurfer Max is designed to be the exact opposite: it is the plushest, smoothest "limousine" ride the Swiss brand has ever produced. This shoe officially replaces the Cloudeclipse, taking that "collapsing domino" sensation to the next level for our customers in Midland, Saginaw, and beyond. Have you ever wanted to simply "turn off" the pavement? The On Cloudsurfer Max is built for those days when you want to forget the road beneath you. By doubling down on On's revolutionary CloudTec Phase® technology, this shoe creates a ride that doesn't just cushion your impact—it flows with you. It’s the perfect companion for long, therapeutic miles on the Saginaw Valley Rail Trail or for the professional who needs a premium, high-stack "cloud" to protect their legs during a long shift. If you’ve found On shoes too firm in the past, the Cloudsurfer Max is the "soft" invitation you’ve been waiting for. It is one of our Staff Favorites for best long distance walking shoes. Technological Performance: Double-Layer CloudTec Phase®: This is On’s most advanced cushioning system. Using AI-designed computer modeling, the "clouds" are shaped to collapse sequentially like a row of dominoes, creating the smoothest heel-to-toe roll in the industry. Helion™ Superfoam Midsole: A massive stack of Helion™ foam works in tandem with the hollow pods to provide a soft landing without that "mushy" energy loss. Speedboard®-Free Design: By removing the traditional rigid plastic plate, On has allowed the midsole to be more flexible and natural, prioritizing pure comfort over aggressive "snap." High-Grip Rubber Outsole: Strategically placed rubber pads ensure you have reliable traction on wet Michigan sidewalks while keeping the overall weight of the shoe remarkably light. Premium Engineered Mesh: A soft, high-quality upper made from recycled polyester that wraps the foot securely while maintaining a high-end, modern aesthetic. What’s New: "Max" Stack Height: With a towering 37mm in the heel, this is the most cushioned shoe in the Cloudsurfer family, offering significantly more protection than the standard Cloudsurfer 2. Refined Eyestay & Tongue: A brand-new lacing construction and a plush, integrated tongue eliminate pressure points on the top of the foot for a true "set-it-and-forget-it" fit. Enhanced Stability Sidewalls: While it is a neutral shoe, the midsole features raised "cradles" that your foot sits in rather than on , providing a secure, centered feel despite the high stack height. Sustainable Dope-Dyeing: The upper uses a specialized dyeing process that requires 90% less water, aligning with On’s commitment to a smaller environmental footprint.
